Medicine packaging should be difficult for children to open, but easy for senior citizens. Our packaging solutions ensure that this is the case.
Medication cannotunintentionally fall into children’s hands. This is stipulated by legal regulations such as the Poisons Prevention Packaging Act and Section 28 of Germany’s Drug Act. Moreover, it’s part of the manufacturers’ sense of responsibility.
Our solutions make it hard or even impossible for children to open medication packaging. However, the mechanisms are easy to open and close for adults, senior citizens, and patients with limited motor functions. All of the solutions have been tested in accordance with the US Code of Federal Regulations and testing procedures for child-resistant pharmaceutical packaging (CFR § 1700.14 US Code of Federal Regulations).
