Tamper evidence: More protection against manipulation

Patients must be able to rely on the originality of medication. Our tamper evidence system ensures that this is the case.

Hardly any other product is as strictly monitored during its production and sales process as medication. Our tamper evidence system ensures that packaging can’t be opened and reclosed without leaving any telltale signs. This prevents any kind of manipulation.

Another advantage of this system is that it doesn’t affect machine speed, enabling you to achieve optimal OEE (overall equipment efficiency) in your packaging line. Simple opening and closing and the clear evidence of first-time opening as well as ensuring convenient and secure handling.

Tamper evidence: One principle, three possibilities

Integrated tamper evidence

Our best cost solution stands out because cut-outs on the lid flaps provide clear and irreversible evidence of first-time opening. After first use, the package can be as easily opened and closed as conventional folding boxes.

Sealing

Conventional solutions such as gluing require an additional flap to be hot melted onto the lid flap of the folding box. The advantage of gluing is easy machine processing and a high degree of protection against manipulation.

Labeling

The application of a label over the sealing edge of the folding box also provides secure tamper evidence. In addition to easy machine processing and excellent tamper-evident protection, this method is attractive in that it provides an option to integrate additional security features.
