The MES needs data
A Manufacturing Execution System is only as good as the data that is available to it. This includes classic data and its processing from the areas of Production Data Acquisition (PDA), machine data acquisition, and personnel data acquisition. It also covers our Business Process Management analysis and all other processes that have immediate effects on the manufacturing/production process.
In addition, further questions arise in the context of advancing digitization — How can we most effectively apply the Pharma 4.0 approaches? Can agile project development lead us to the target here? Is it the right moment to switch to a Manufacturing Execution System as a service (MES aas)? Are we solely moving to a cloud strategy?
The MES systems implemented by us typically cover the following functions:
- Recipe management
- Weighing & dispensing
- Electronic Batch Recording
- Shop-floor warehouse management
- Equipment management
- In-process control
- ERP and automation integration
- Review and batch release
Most of the MES solutions supported by us operate with interfaces to other systems (ERP, warehouse management, supply chain solutions, line management, etc.).
If you wish to better integrate your existing MES system in the context of your Pharma 4.0 or Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) project, we are happy to advise you!
