PAS-X MES lets you create and manage equipment, providing intuitive and easy-to-use dialogs which offer full life cycle control of your equipment. Users can block or set equipment to effective by following pre-defined approval workflows which guarantee only authorized equipment is being used on the shop floor. Either new equipment or a new version of existing equipment can be generated. Since all equipment types and individual equipment items are version-controlled, it will allow the users to monitor changes of equipment, avoid mix-ups, and ensure correct version control.
Equipment statuses are based on state diagrams. Establishing state diagrams for equipment with numerous possible statuses or complex cleaning procedures can be quite complicated and time-consuming. In PAS-X MES, state diagrams can be created and edited for each equipment type in dedicated, user-friendly interfaces.
With the help of state diagrams, PAS-X Equipment Management automatically tracks and updates the equipment status in the equipment monitor dialogue. Here, an overview of all equipment runtime data (e.g., states, counters, or timers) is displayed in an easy-to-understand way.
